Nothing Beats the Italian Leather Jackets

Italy is the country of art and beauty. It has produced some of the greatest artists and scholars the world has ever seen including Leonardo da Vincci, Galileo and Michael Angelo. Milan, Paris, Florence, Rome, Tokyo and New York are some of the fashion centres of the world. But Italy has a unique hold over the world fashions. In fact, Milan was voted the true fashion capital of the world in 2009 while Rome came in fourth. Missoni, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Versace and Prada are some of the greatest fashion brands of the world- and each and every one is Italian. Italian leather jackets are just one of the great products of Italy.
Italian leather coats are another one. Italy’s products have become so qualitative, innovative and stylish, that Italy itself has become a brand. Any product created in Italy immediately attains brand value and becomes a coveted prize. Take Milan for instance. The city holds the Milan Fashion Week twice a year and fashion enthusiasts and celebrities from all around the world attend it. It is one of the must attend occasions. Why? Purely because that is the hold Italy has over fashion. It is truly a leader and its cities and products have become a brand. Italian leather jackets are a frenetically coveted item. These jackets along with Italian leather coats are not just normal leather outer-wear. A not well-known fact is that Italian leather is not made of cow hide like leather commonly is; instead, it is made of Ostrich hide. This makes it more durable and thicker. Moreover, ostrich leather has a bumpy surface thus the famous ‘goose-bump’ surface of Italian leather. But the real reason why these jackets and coats are so popular is because of the craftsmanship. There is nothing comparable to it. Moreover, these jackets are of an extremely high quality because the leather (ostrich, cow, lamb whichever) is ‘full grain’ leather which means it is made from the best animal hides does not need to be sanded.
Italian leather jackets are so distinguished because of their quality. They will last decades simply because they are made of such fine leather. Italian leather coats are in the same league. Add the beautiful craftsmanship, and we have clothes that are qualitative and stylish. What more can a person want? The fame of Italian leather is no new thing; it has existed for a few centuries now. Florence, in particular, is famous for the leather it produces. Milan has the head offices of some of the top bands including Valentino, Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada. These fashion centres and some more (in Milan) use Italian leather almost exclusively.
Italian leather jackets would have been a highly demanded product just on the basis of being leather. Italian leathercoats and jackets are so deeply desirable because of a myriad of reasons. Leather is an air-permeable material thus it is healthier. It is durable, soft and warm. It is dust free and water proof. It is hard to burn and repels dry abrasion and fungal attack. Add to all that the Italian craftsmanship and we have a winner.
